David E. Brenner
David Brenner has been practicing law for almost 25 years. He began working as a law clerk at the Law Offices of George W. Howard, III in 1984. He has continued as an attorney and ultimately shareholder of its successor firm Nass Cancelliere Brenner. Beginning in 2013, he became “of counsel” to the firm. In this role, Mr. Brenner will serve as the firm’s settlement negotiator.
Mr. Brenner is an experienced litigator in various areas of civil practice with an emphasis on mesothelioma and asbestos cases. His most recent emphasis has been on the negotiation of asbestos cases and other forms of litigation. He prides himself on obtaining the highest values for the claims of his clients.
Mr. Brenner serves as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Dispute Resolution Center of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. He also serves as a compulsory arbitrator in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County and the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County.
Since January 1, 2013, Mr. Brenner has become a Judge Pro Tempore volunteering approximately twenty hours per week to the Civil Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. Mr. Brenner has been assigned by the Honorable Arnold New to assist the Honorable Sandra Mazer Moss with the mediation of cases which comprise the Day Forward 2011 program.
Mr. Brenner also serves as President of Resolution Support Services, Inc., a mediation and arbitration service.
Mr. Brenner is extremely active in community organizations, including serving as a youth wrestling coach and little league coach. He serves as a PIAA wrestling official. Mr. Brenner is active in the local YMCA, having served on both the operating board and the foundation board of the Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County. Mr. Brenner is a devoted handball player.
Mr. Brenner is married with 4 children.
